Cassandra is a Licensed, Nationally Certified Counselor, specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and EMDR therapy. She received her Bachelor's degree from Truman State University in Kirksville MO and her Master's in Counseling Psychology from Evangel University in Springfield MO.
Cassandra started her career in mental health providing care at an acute-care residential facility for youth. There, she had the opportunity to assist adolescents and their families in working through a year-long treatment program. She has extensive experience helping clients manage symptoms of chronic trauma, such as increasing attachment/bonding with children and their parents. She also enjoys assisting adolescents and adults in navigating symptoms of anxiety/depression that arise in our fast-paced, high-stress world.
Cassandra is married to a book-loving, English teacher. On their favorite afternoon in the Ozarks, Cassandra and her husband can be found kayaking down a river with their two kids in tow. The family also fosters and loves caring for the children that come into their lives' and home.
