Ron holds a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Central Methodist University. He has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God for over 35 years and has served as both a youth pastor and a lead pastor. He has also worked with Assemblies of God U.S. Missions in community outreach and church revitalization.
Ron’s focus has been on helping people improve their behavioral, cognitive, social, and coping strategies when dealing with individual needs, family and friend relationships, aggression, anxiety, and depression. Ron believes his greatest education came through his upbringing … “I had parents that were devoted to Christ and the local church. There is no way I can overemphasize their impact on my life. Love for God and people were primary in my family. I am a fourth-generation minister on both sides of my family. I feel as though God has prepared me to minister in a variety of ways, and I willingly share the love of Christ.”
Ron feels one of his greatest accomplishments in life is his family. He has been married to his wife Carla for 35 years and they have two grown children, Camille (and her husband, Brad) and Caleb.
