Our team is comprised of psychologists and licensed counselors from diverse backgrounds, with a variety of life experiences.
All service providers are professing Christians, professionally trained and accredited in their field, practicing in accordance with state licensing laws and regulations. As compassionate, non-judgmental professionals, we offer a multidisciplinary approach based on sound psychological principles. We respect the beliefs and values of others and welcome all those who seek help.
At times our team is augmented by counseling interns completing final requirements for state licensure. Interns allow us to provide reduced-fee counseling for those who can benefit from such services.
Interns are closely supervised and are held to the same ethical and professional standards as licensed counselors.
Our team provides counseling services to adults, adolescents, and children. In addition to individual counseling, we offer premarital counseling, couples counseling, family therapy, and psychological testing and evaluation. We also provide training to church staff members and lay leaders on such topics as effective communication; successful conflict resolution; caring for the bereaved; and issues and ethics for those in the helping professions.
Therapists
Debbie is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, author, and speaker. She is the Co-owner, with her husband, and Chief Psychologist of Eaglecrest Counseling Center, Inc. in Springfield, Missouri.
Jim is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Jim finished his residency in 1997 and recieved a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology.
Leanna is a Licensed Professional Counselor and has been with us since 2004. She received her undergraduate degree from Southwest Baptist University and her Masters degree in counseling from Missouri State University.
Dr. Billy Russell is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Board Certified Counselor, and a Certified Reciprocal Alcohol Drug Counselor. He is dually trained in Counseling and Pastoral Ministry.
Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor. Lauren previously worked for 13 years as a Professional School Counselor.
Kelli is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southwest Baptist University in 2016 and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Evangel University in 2018.
Tim is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He graduated with A Master of Science in Community and Agency Counseling from Pittsburg State University.
Amanda is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Hannibal-LaGrange University in 2016.
Cyndie completed her LPC in 2021 but began her career as an addictions counselor with Adult and Teen Challenge from 1981-1991. She received her undergraduate degree from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO, in Education and Youth Ministries in 1984.
